I'm so excited to introduce three wonderful teachers based in Florida, each bringing their own musical background and teaching style to students in the area. Whether you're just starting out or picking lessons back up after a break, there's a great fit for you here.
Lessons in Pompano Beach are held through Sunny Shores Academy, which uses my Circle of Fifths method and curriculum as the foundation for how these teachers teach.

Emma Dessa Music is also an approved Step Up For Students service provider under the Elective Courses category, so Florida families using Unique Abilities (FES-UA), Private School (FES-ED/FTC), or PEP scholarship funds can apply them toward music lessons, in person or virtual.

Pompano Beach
Miranda has been playing piano since she was eight years old, and she's never stopped. Over the years she's learned from three different teachers, picking up something new from each one, and that variety shows in how she plays and teaches today.
Her taste in music spans pop, Argentinean rock, and classical, and she loves how those genres end up connecting. Playing Argentinean rock, she'll often notice patterns that trace straight back to classical music, and pop's endless mix of chord progressions keeps things fresh.
She doesn't have one favorite song, but her go to artists include Taylor Swift, Seru Giran, Fleetwood Mac, ABBA, beabadoobee, Olivia Dean, Sam Fender, Billy Joel, Harry Styles, and Gustavo Cerati.

Fort Lauderdale
Adam started on piano at age three, then picked up percussion and drum set at eight, and percussion became his main focus through a performing arts middle school and high school. He went on to study audio engineering at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music, all while continuing to play percussion. Since then, he's played jazz, rock, and R&B shows all across South Florida.
Beyond lessons, Adam has been producing music for 15 years and DJing for 7, releasing his own music under the artist name Fivel. A few songs currently on repeat for him: Daniel Caesar's "Get You," Kansas's "Carry On Wayward Son," Lee Fields & The Expressions' "Honey Dove," Tennyson's "Body Language," and Flume's "Say It."

Coconut Creek & Online
Cailey teaches vocal lessons, offered online and in person.
Cailey grew up singing in choir and acting as a songleader at synagogue, and in college she transitioned into songwriting and performing with an acapella group. As an adult, she became a professional musician and voice coach, wanting to extend her love and knowledge of music to others.
A few of her favorite songs: "Float" by Harbour, "All the Pretty Girls" by Kaleo, and "Grow As We Go" by Sara Bareilles.
