I believe learning piano should feel enjoyable, personal, and meaningful, not feel like a chore. My teaching style is built around flexibility, curiosity, and confidence. Lessons are tailored to you: the music you love, the pace you’re comfortable with, and the goals that actually matter to you. Whether we’re working through a method book, learning your favorite song, or exploring chords and patterns, everything connects back to real music you want to play.
But it wasn’t until I started playing songs I actually loved, like Star Wars, Need You Now, and, of course, a few High School Musical hits, that something really clicked. Playing piano became fun, expressive, and personal. That experience shaped the way I teach today: blending foundational skills with creativity, curiosity, and the freedom to explore music that excites you. From teaching myself Titanium by David Guetta and Sia, figuring out Für Elise by ear, or obsessively perfecting one song a week (and then never playing it again!), I’ve always been passionate about connecting with music in a way that feels real and inspiring.
I started teaching in my second year of university because it was something I had always thought about doing. A degree in economics was what taught me how to continue growing my business. After university, I knew I wanted to take my piano teaching full-time. Because my piano journey started as a child, I dove into online theory courses from the University of Edinburgh, Berklee, Harvard University, and more to continue building my skills. My love for travel inspired me to create the best possible online learning experience, which I’m still developing today.

We explore theory gently and practically, always tied to songs, chords, or techniques you’re already learning, so reading music, playing with both hands, or adding fullness to your sound starts to feel intuitive instead of overwhelming.
My goal is simple: To help you feel confident, comfortable, and motivated at the piano, whether you’re a beginner, returning adult, or young student discovering music for the first time.

My goal is to make piano and music meaningful, fun, and fulfilling. That doesn’t mean practicing five hours a week (unless you want to), learning songs you hate, or studying theory at age six. It means understanding how music works, learning your favorite songs, recognizing patterns in music, and discovering how to teach yourself, all while playing the music you actually love.
Music should feel like your world. My job is to help you make it that way.
